Wakoucha Black Tea Bio 60 G
Product description
The taste of this black leaf tea is refined, delicately floral with noticeable notes of honey and spice
The word "kou-cha" translates as "crimson-colored tea." This term wakoucha owes its name to the soft Japanese water, which is dyed by the dryness to a shade of dark red with a touch of blue. This is also why it was called red tea in the past. When brewed with water of medium hardness, more typical of European countries, the wakoucha infusion takes on an intense dark amber color
Moya Wakoucha is native to the Mie region on the island of Honsiu.
Black wakoucha tea will work well as a companion to meals and desserts, the sweetness of which it will break with its flavor
Like any black tea, wakoucha is also dried after harvesting and then subjected to a fermentation process, which distinguishes it from green tea. The result of this process is its dark color, slightly earthy taste and lower caffeine content than in green sencha, for example.
