Product description
Soap nuts contain saponins – natural washing agents found in their shells. Upon contact with water, saponins release their cleansing properties, allowing the nuts to be used as an ecological and biodegradable laundry agent. They are gentle on fabrics, making them suitable for washing wool, silk, and baby clothes. The product is unscented, allowing you to customize the laundry's fragrance by adding an essential oil.
Usage
For tougher stains, you can pre-soak the fabric in the prepared liquid made from the nuts. For white fabrics, you can add 2 tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate. Place 5–7 nuts in a cotton bag and put it in the washing machine drum. The same nuts can be used 3 times for washing at 30°C, 2 times at 40°C, 1–2 times at 60°C, and 1 time at 90°C. The washing machine drum should not be too full or overloaded. To prepare the washing liquid, pour 1 litre of water into a pot, add 10 nuts, and boil for 5 minutes. After this time, the liquid is ready for use.
