The main ingredient of Organic Diet Noodle is konjac glucomannan – a water-soluble fibre derived from the konjac plant root. Popular in Asia, where it is known as Shirataki Noodles or Konnyaku Noodles, it is especially valued by the Japanese. This natural product is certified as organic and JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standard). It is gluten-free, sugar-free, lactose-free, vegan, and vegetarian. Rich in fibre, it contains no fat, starch, or protein. The noodles are translucent and tasteless, allowing them to readily absorb the flavours of sauces and spices. They are quick to prepare and wholesome. It can be stored at room temperature for approximately one year.
