Neither during the growth of the cotton and its harvest, nor at any stage of the production of the sanitary napkins does the cotton come into contact with chemicals. As a result, BIO-cotton remains white, pure and pristine. In production, it was treated only with hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide water). The absence of bleaching agents such as chlorine and other aggressive bleaches ensures that the fibers of the sanitary pads are hypoallergenic. This means that their contact with the skin does not cause allergies, irritation and dermatitis. The cotton, so sourced and processed, retains maximum absorption and natural softness and gentleness. The VIVICOT BIO series of products are the first Italian sanitary napkins that are completely biodegradable and compostable.
