This lamp is crafted from a salt crystal and serves as a natural air ionizer, effectively increasing the level of negative ions in rooms. The beneficial effects of negative ions can be experienced when visiting the Wieliczka Salt Mine, by the sea, or after a thunderstorm. In salt lamps, the ionization effect is further enhanced by the warming of the salt crystals by the internal light bulb. This allows the salt lamp to improve the quality of our surroundings and, consequently, our well-being.

The set includes a salt block weighing approximately 4 kg, shaped like a circle with a wooden tree motif, mounted on a wooden base, with a height of approximately 19.5 cm. Also included is a white bulb holder with a 120 cm long cable and switch, and an E14, 15 W light bulb. The lamp serves as a decorative element, perfect for a child's room, bedroom, or living room, especially near a television or computer.

Usage

To replace the light bulb, unplug the lamp from the socket. Then, turn the lamp upside down to gain easy access to the electrical component. Grasp the lower part of the electrical component with two fingers and gently pull it towards you until the retaining spring becomes visible. Do not pull on the electrical cord. Hold the spring with two fingers, squeeze it, and pull the electrical component out of the lamp. Exercise caution with the retaining spring, as improper removal may cause it to snap painfully against your fingers. After screwing in the new bulb, grasp the electrical component by the spring with two fingers, ensuring it adheres to the bulb holder, and then insert the entire electrical component back into the lamp's opening.

Once unplugged, the lamp can be cleaned with a damp brush or cloth, then dried by switching the lamp on for a few hours. Do not get the opening where the electrical component is placed wet. Never immerse salt lamps in water, as this can cause them to crack due to water entering microscopic fissures, which are often invisible but naturally present in the lamp.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry place. Do not place in a bathroom, basement, or outdoors. Position in a manner that eliminates the risk of falling.

Notes

Salt crystals are highly hygroscopic, meaning they attract water molecules from the atmosphere, thus they should be used in dry rooms. If room humidity increases, for example during rain, the lamp should be switched off during this time.
