Its grains are delicate in taste, as well as easily digestible and gluten-free, making it suitable for people on a gluten-free diet. It can be used as a substitute for grains in various dishes, adding not only nutritional value, but also interesting color and texture.
Directions for use
Red quinoa can be prepared similarly to traditional quinoa. You should first rinse the grains thoroughly, and then boil them in a 1:2 ratio (1 part quinoa to 2 parts water) for about 15-20 minutes, until the grains become soft and absorb all the water. The finished quinoa can be eaten as a side dish, in salads, soups or as an ingredient in stuffing for vegetables. It can also serve as a base for one-pot dishes or salads.
