Pai Mu Tan is one of the most classic and highly prized white teas, originating from Fujian in southeastern China. It is an organic blend of young leaves and buds from da bai and shui xian bai tea bushes. Its name, White Peony, refers to the resemblance of the buds and leaves to this flower. Pai Mu Tan is harvested in early spring, during March and April, requiring great care to avoid damaging the delicate shoots. This tea is characterized by a floral aroma, a clear, greenish, slightly golden infusion color, and a refreshing, pleasant taste.Usage
Place 1-2 teaspoons into a cup and pour 200 ml of water at 70-90°C over it. Steep covered for 1-7 minutes, depending on the desired strength of the infusion, then strain.Ingredients
