Product description
Spelt is an old variety of wheat. Spelt grains mature in thick hulls, protecting them from impurities. Spelt can be milled, yielding whole-grain spelt flour, suitable for baking bread and cakes. Cooked and blended spelt is a great base for chops and pastes.
Preparation Method
Cook spelt, previously soaked for several hours and rinsed, in fresh salted water at a ratio of 1:3 (1 serving of spelt to 3 servings of water) for about 90 minutes.
