A subtly sweet and refreshing green tea with an earthy note. Sencha is the most popular tea in Japan. It is made from the same green tea plants as matcha, but in the case of sencha, the plants are not shaded during cultivation. Immediately after harvesting, the leaves are dried, which halts their oxidation process. After drying, the leaves curl, forming their characteristic 'needle-like' shape.
Moya Sencha no. 21 comes from organic cultivation on Kyushu Island, harvested during the second flush, offering a very balanced flavor. Green sencha tea is a rich source of antioxidants and vitamins. It may help support concentration, and its polyphenols contribute to digestive well-being, may assist in calorie metabolism, and support cardiovascular function.
Usage
Tea quantity: 2-3 g per 250 ml. Brewing time: 2 min. Brewing temperature: 70-80°C.
