Coffees from the western regions of Honduras are highly regarded as some of the best in the country. Grown in high mountain altitudes, under moderate climatic conditions, the slower ripening cherries yield beans with greater density and an exceptional flavour profile. This organic coffee is characterised by a noticeable sweetness of cane sugar with notes of caramel, cocoa, and dark chocolate, complemented by a delicate peach aftertaste. It boasts a full, creamy body and a light citrus acidity.
