The main ingredient of Bio Diet Udon is Konjac Glucomannan – a water-soluble fibre derived from the root of the Konjac plant. Originally from Asia, food products made from it are also known as Shirataki Noodles or Konnyaku Noodles. The Japanese are the largest consumers of this food worldwide.
Organic konjac noodles are a natural product, rich in water-soluble fibre, free from fat, sugar, starch, and protein. They are gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian, 100% plant-based, and certified by JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standard). The noodles are translucent and flavourless, allowing them to easily absorb the aromas of accompanying ingredients and spices.
Usage
Rinse the noodles thoroughly under warm, running water, then boil or fry for 2-3 minutes and add directly to your dish.
