Product description

Bancha is an organic green tea made from mature leaves of the second and third harvest, originating from the same bushes as Sencha tea. In Japan, it is one of the most popular teas for daily consumption, traditionally served with meals.

Leaves harvested in summer and autumn naturally contain less caffeine than younger leaves, resulting in a milder, less bitter infusion that is well-suited for evening hours. The higher tannin content gives the tea a distinctive, balanced flavor.

Usage

Tea quantity: 3-4 g per 250 ml. Brewing time: 3-4 min. Number of infusions: 3. Brewing temperature: 70-80°C.
