A 1% high molecular weight (HMW) hyaluronic acid gel solution serves as an active serum, ideal for standalone application or for enhancing other cosmetic products. Its particle size ranges from 1,0 – 1,8 MDa. Hyaluronic acid is renowned for its exceptional ability to bind and retain moisture within the skin, thereby enhancing skin firmness and epidermal smoothness. It intensely hydrates and regenerates the skin, visibly improving its elasticity and helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
The natural aging process leads to a decrease in the body's hyaluronic acid levels, resulting in progressive skin laxity. When applied to the skin in gel form, hyaluronic acid helps restore elasticity, making the skin noticeably smoother and visibly reducing the depth of wrinkles. These beneficial effects persist for several days even after discontinuing regular hyaluronic acid application.
Hyaluronic acid is suitable for all skin types. It is particularly recommended for sensitive skin, and also beneficial for skin prone to eczema, psoriasis, cellulite, and stretch marks. Being non-comedogenic, it is suitable for individuals with oily and acne-prone skin. This solution is derived from powdered hyaluronic acid of biotechnological origin. Hyaluronic acid is not an exfoliating acid, and therefore does not necessitate extra sun protection.
