Product Description
Organic guar gum is a natural thickener obtained from the endosperm of the seeds of the plant of the broad bean family - Cyamopsis tetragonolobus. Guar gum can be used as a neutral-tasting and odorless replacement for gelatin. It is characterized by good solubility in water, and also thickens products without heating them. Its properties make it an ideal addition to sauces, dressings, soups, jams or desserts.
Directions for use
Preparation: dissolve 1 g of guar gum (1/4 teaspoon) in 100 g of the product to be thickened.
